B.Optho (Bachelor of Opthomology) Optom course has a minimum duration of four years wherein, usually the initial three years are invested into the learning process and the last and final year is for the internship programme to let the aspirant experience practical knowledge as well.
After completing the BOPTM course, students are qualified to provide comprehensive care for the visual systems including vision, detection of eye diseases, prescribing eye correction options such as eye classes, contact lenses and low vision aids.
